Design/Engineering/Construction Manager for a Development Company
*Korean and English Language Fluency Required*
                      
Location: KOREA

Our client is an internationally acclaimed real estate development company that has large scale mixed use projects both in the United States and Korea.

Our Client is looking for an experienced DESIGN/ENGINEERING/
CONSTRUCTION MANAGER to live abroad in Korea and oversee a team of consultants on large scale mixed use development projects.

Mandantory Requirements:

• Fluent in both English and Korean
• Engineering, Construction, and/or Architecture Experience and Related Degree
• Commitment to live in Korea for Duration of Project (minimum of two years)

 Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

• Support development teams.
• Assist in the selection of design consultants for individual projects.
• Direct oversight of the Design Team of Architects, Structural Engineers, MEP Engineers, Site Civil Engineers, Landscape Architects, Geotechnical Engineers, Environmental Consultants as well as all specialty consultants.
• Provide direction and assistance from a pre-development management, design development and construction standpoint..
• Interpret current building and zoning regulations.
• Supervise the project design and development process.
• Keep the team members focused on the project’s pre-development, design and construction schedules and coordinate any changes to the schedules.
• Supervise and lead the Construction Management team and the General Contractor on multi-use projects.

Experience And Requirements:

• A four-year college degree in architecture, civil engineering, construction management and/or urban planning and professional knowledge of business discipline is required. Advanced degree is desirable.
• Seasoned professional with ten plus years experience in architectural design, engineering or construction / construction management.
• Ability to read and understand all architectural, civil, MEP, structural, and landscape plans
• Experience and familiarity with high-rise projects a plus.
• Experience with and understanding of basic civil engineering and site design principles.
