Overview:
Our client is a Boston based firm specializing in the acquisition and management of office properties in Boston and various other cities. The company seeks an energetic achiever to fill the position of Leasing Assistant. This position offers substantial room for learning and career growth for a motivated individual.
Position Description:
The candidate will assist in overall office-related operations of the company with primary responsibilities in leasing. This is a vital position in which the assistant is a key member with transaction responsibilities which are time sensitive and occasionally may require irregular hours.
Responsibilities:
- 80% Leasing Assistant, 20% General Administrative Assistant
- Process leases, which includes coordination between attorneys, tenant clients, property management and client services
- Assist in managing architects, brokers and attorneys
- Update internal building documents and files
- Create and track prospect correspondence
- Track broker correspondence
- Coordinate press releases with our PR agency
- Provide property updates to brokers and online leasing services
- Update and distribute weekly leasing reports
- Monitor billing invoices from architects and brokers
- Fill out expense reports
- Aid in copying and filing for the leasing department and other departments, as needed
- Contribute to miscellaneous projects as needed

Skills and Experience:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written
- Interest in leasing and property management
- Acute attention to detail
- Computer literacy including proficiency with Microsoft Word. Experience with contact management (Outlook), spreadsheet (Excel), database (Salesforce), and presentation (PowerPoint) software helpful. Proven ability to learn new software applications and solve computer-related issues.
