YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 20+ Years with at least 10+ years at an Internationally Renowned Institutional Real Estate Firm

Location: Boston, MA

Our client has raised a $300 million closed-ended fund to be invested in real estate over the next 3 years. We are seeking a Managing Principal to establish and run the Fund in Boston. This new venture will be an affiliate of a joint-venture between a large reputable Middle Eastern real estate development company and a private wealth management firm based in Geneva, Switzerland. Investors are primarily from the Middle East region.
                                                                                                      
This is an exciting entrepreneurial opportunity for a seasoned real estate professional with a strong background in acquisitions and/or real estate fund management at a large institutional firm. Experience with an internationally recognized institution is a requirement for this position.

The Managing Principal will establish the Boston Office and hire additional staff. He/She will develop & implement a business strategy to penetrate both the local Boston market and other real estate markets around the country. This position will allow the Managing Principal the flexibility to explore opportunities in all asset classes and encourages creativity and entrepreneurialism.

Mandatory criteria for the Managing Principal Candidate:

• Lengthy Career at Internationally Renowned Real Estate Fund
• Real estate acquisitions experience with a high volume of transactions
• National “reach” with Brokers and Development Partners
• Experience and interest in deals within the $5-15M in equity investment range

Preferred criteria for the Managing Principal Candidate:

• Excellent academic credentials- MBA Preferred
• Experience in Investor Relations (with the Middle East is a plus)
