Our Client is a Real Estate Investment and Asset Management firm that focuses on Real Estate debt.  They have approximately $500mm of AUM via both a Fund and Institutional Separate Accounts.  Our Client maintains an entrepreneurial spirit and looks to add talented team members who have a solid foundation in real estate that thrive in both independent and team-based environments.

Our Client is seeking an Analyst whose primary responsibility is to be a meaningful contributor to the Investment team.  The Analyst’s primary responsibility will be underwriting new investment opportunities, development of investment/credit memos, creation of investment committee presentations, perform due diligence/site visits, assist in loan closings.   In addition to Investment functions the analysts will assist asset management through quarterly re-underwriting of the portfolio and other surveillance projects.  


Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Underwrite New Investment Opportunities.
  • Create dynamic cash flows for all asset types.
  • Effectively operate both equity and debt valuation models.
  • Perform market and asset level due diligence including site visits.
  • Assist in closing loans/investments.
  • Work on investor presentations.
  • Track performance of investments.

Skills / Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a top university.
  • Exposure to commercial real estate finance & experience underwriting preferred.
  • Highly developed analytical skills including the ability to create complex spreadsheets, presentations, and process maps. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Outstanding writing skills including the ability to communicate articulately and concisely.
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining organization.
  • High integrity, entrepreneurial drive, and intellectual curiosity are a must.
  • Self-motivated individual.
