Our client’s Investment/Acquisitions Team is seeking to hire an Associate (NYC Office, remote initially).
In this role, the potential candidate will analyze and execute attractive risk-adjusted return real estate credit and equity opportunities as well as perform asset management responsibilities with members of the team. The time allocation is expected to be ~75%/~25% between Investment/Acquisitions and Asset Management. The potential candidate will need to possess relevant experience and an interest in working on complex assets/transactions across property types and the capital structure. The potential candidate should be able to maintain strong attention to detail, handle changing workload priorities and show excellent communication and organizational skills.
Our client is an entrepreneurial investment management platform with a significant growth runway, providing the potential candidate with the opportunity to work in a flat organization with exposure to Senior Management. Senior Management has originated over $150 billion of commercial real estate debt and invested approximately $10 billion of equity in commercial real estate assets over the past 35 years. Our client is highly data-driven and relies heavily upon the Investment/Acquisitions team to both find useful datasets and critically analyze them to diligence potential and existing investments.
The firm invests on behalf of several institutional investors and has a flexible mandate in terms of target geographies (across Gateway Markets in the United States), asset classes (multifamily, condo, office, hotel, industrial and retail), and investment types across the capital structure (equity, preferred equity, mezzanine debt and stretch senior investments).
