In business for more than 65 years, the firm’s portfolio has encompassed over six million square feet of single & multi-family residential, office space, research & development, medical facilities, self-storage facilities, retail, and warehouse facilities.
The firm is looking for a skilled and motivated Assistant Property Manager to join a team overseeing a residential property complex in Stoneham, MA consisting of 1-4 bedroom apartments and townhouses.
Responsibilities
This Assistant Property Manager will be responsible for the below tasks, including but not limited to:
- Administrative support for Property Manager
- Address tenant issues and concerns in a thoughtful and timely manner.
- Process work orders and track status.
- Process rent payments and rent collection.
- Process accounts payable.
- Waitlist management.
- Maintain meticulous tenant files.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with state agencies such as Mass Housing.
Qualifications
- At least two years of full-time work experience in residential property management.
- A working knowledge of affordable housing compliance programs such as project-based Section 8 is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational, analytic, verbal, and written skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in fast paced environment.
- Be able to advocate, organize, problem-solve, and obtain results for the residents and the community.
- Customer service skills are important in this role.
- A positive attitude, a willingness to learn and work as a team member.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and knowledge of (or ability to quickly learn) housing software Boston Post/ MRI and QuickBooks.
