As a full-service firm with capabilities including development and construction through financing and operations, they are able to provide creative solutions to large energy users and landowners in North America. Our client is seeking an experienced Director of Accounting to join their Accounting & Finance team as they work to create the bridge from today’s clean energy reality to tomorrow’s possibilities for commercial energy users throughout the United States.
The Director of Accounting will report to the Controller and will be responsible for day-to-day oversight of the company’s monthly close and review process, training and mentorship of junior staff members, with additional responsibilities in treasury management. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of private and public accounting experience and will be expected to build strong working relationships across the organization (including origination, construction, and operations teams) as well as external counterparties (including lenders, investors, and auditors). This role requires a dynamic, agile, and hands-on professional to execute and optimize accounting processes in a fast-paced and growing environment.
