Our client is owner/operator of millions of square feet of life-science real estate assets in core research hubs across the United States and is involved in all aspects of the process from acquisitions and development to leasing and property management.

Position Overview:
The position of Marketing Director will work directly with the firm’s leadership. This newly created position will sit in the Boston office and will have hands-on responsibility for drafting and executing marketing materials to advance the company’s portfolio and business goals, as related to development, property management and community building. The successful candidate will be a highly skilled, entrepreneurial, and ambitious marketing and communications professional, who is experienced across digital, brand-building and experiential/activations. The role involves social media strategy and implementation, and direct preparation of materials for corporate communication as well as coordination with third party providers hired by the company to prepare property-level marketing materials. The position also has significant involvement in the PR efforts of the firm which also involves coordination with a third-party consultant.

• Independently create a measurable and coordinated marketing strategy that encompasses all areas of marketing and communications at the corporate level including investor-focused and internal communications
• Work with internal and external leasing teams to develop and coordinate marketing and communications efforts at the property-level.
• Use advanced graphic design and mapping software to produce and update a variety of marketing materials consistent with company brand standards, including newsletters, advertisements, demographic reports, and leasing materials for in-house and external presentations as well as coordinate the design of a new website.
• Experience working in a small team environment.
• Budget management review and reporting.
• Wide array of experience across all aspects of marketing and communications.
• Big thinker, but also adept at execution.
• Revenue-generating mind-set as related to partner/sponsor strategy of digital assets and activations.
• Easy ability to gain trust and confidence with cross-functional teams and general ease of relationship-building.
• Experience in managing agencies and freelancers.
• Social media campaign strategy and implementation expertise.

• 7-10 years of relevant experience. Experience in real estate or life sciences is a plus
• Operates efficiently in a work environment with tight deadlines
• Possesses strong organizational and project management skills; can multi-task and deliver on various goals
• Resourceful self-starter able to take initiative
• Detail orientated with excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience managing design and creative projects
• Strong academic credentials
