Our client is seeking a Vice President for the corporate finance and capital markets team in our New York City headquarters. This individual will be a member of the firms Finance Team responsible for capitalizing all the organization’s corporate, lending and strategic acquisition activities. Working as part of a small, highly collaborative team, this position will interface with the senior members of the firms organization including various C-level executives. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to handle multiple priorities within a dynamic business environment.

 

Required Responsibilities:
·       Be responsible for the relationship management of corporate bank credit facilities

·       Assist in corporate strategy through financial analysis/modeling, industry and competitive analysis, investment research, and business diligence

·       Manage potential transactions including debt and equity capital markets such as CRE CLOs, Term Loan B financing, common and preferred equity issuance, etc.

·       Explore and execute on potential corporate mergers and acquisitions and new business line development

·       Manage the creation and maintenance of investor, lender, and rating agency presentation materials

·       Assist on opportunities for new business lines by identifying investors, sources of financing and potential profitability

·       Train and manage a team of analysts and associates

Qualifications:
·       Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier accredited college or university preferred

·       Knowledge of MS Office with advanced Excel skills required

·       General familiarity with GSE Agency finance, tax-exempt financing and not for profit finance would be beneficial but not required

·       5+ years’ experience in investment banking or capital markets – ideally with a focus on financial services or commercial real estate finance

·       Excellent financial modeling skills

·       Strong analytical and business development skills

·       Detail oriented with strong organizational/project-management skills

·       Excellent verbal and written communications skills

·       Ability to work independently on projects and collaboratively as a team-player

·       Strong time management skills and a respect for deadlines
