Analyst/Associate, Investor Relations & Growth Initiatives

Our client is a global alternative investment manager investing across private equity, real assets, credit and liquid strategies. Its Real Assets platform oversees more than $16 billion in assets under management, including approximately $12 billion within real estate. Since launching its real estate business in 1996, our client has invested more than $29 billion across over 1,550 properties globally. The United States portfolio is concentrated primarily in industrial and residential assets.

Position Description:
Our client’s US Real Estate team seeks to hire an Analyst/Associate to work on growth initiatives to help expand the platform, in addition to supporting existing investors and products. This position emphasizes growth initiatives, presentation management, and investor inquiries, with additional exposure to portfolio analysis and reporting. The role will be hands-on and execution-focused: supporting growth initiatives and platform expansion, developing presentations and offering materials, drafting investment and portfolio narratives, managing investor inquiries and due diligence follow-up, and supporting client reporting. The individual will work closely with the broader Real Estate team, Finance, Fund Accounting, Legal, and Compliance teams, as well as external placement agents.

Primary Responsibilities:
Investor Relations, Presentations, and Growth Initiatives

  • Support the team's growth initiatives, including identifying and evaluating opportunities to expand the platform's investor base and product offerings.
  • Prepare materials for investor calls, meetings, and presentations; track questions and coordinate timely follow-up.
  • Maintain current portfolio statistics, investment case studies, track-record materials, and approved platform talking points.
  • Track and follow up on ad hoc investor requests to ensure timely closure.
  • Assist with other internal presentations, including for Rating Agencies, Board of Directors, etc.

Capital Formation and Due Diligence Support

  • Develop and update pitchbooks, investment presentations, portfolio summaries, case studies, and other materials for prospective investors.
  • Use Excel to analyze portfolio and investment data in support of growth initiatives and translate findings into clear charts, exhibits, and presentation-ready insights.
  • Help package the team’s investment approach and track record into compelling, audience-specific materials.
  • Support the production of offering documents
  • Coordinate investor due diligence by organizing materials, tracking requests, drafting responses, and following up with internal subject-matter experts.
  • Prepare and maintain responses to due diligence questionnaires, requests for proposals, and other institutional investor inquiries.
  • Provide placement agent/fundraising team with accurate materials, data, and follow-up support.

Portfolio Reporting Support

  • Oversee track record updates and accuracy.
  • Support recurring reporting for real estate portfolios, investments, and investor partnerships, including performance commentary and property updates.
  • Gather and verify investment, operating, and financial information from internal teams to ensure investor communications are accurate and consistent.
  • Draft narratives explaining portfolio performance, leasing activity, capital projects, valuation changes, business-plan progress, and relevant market developments.
  • Maintain organized, reliable processes for data verification, version control, approvals, and delivery of investor-facing materials.

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate is a motivated early-career professional who enjoys both analysis and presentations and is energized by helping grow the platform.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in investor relations, growth or business development, real estate investing, investment banking, consulting, or another analytical and presentation-intensive role.
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, including the ability to build polished presentations and work accurately with financial data.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to explain complex investment information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and judgment when handling confidential information and external communications.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively across teams.
  • Curiosity about real estate investing, adaptability, and a willingness to become deeply familiar with the firm’s investments and investor base.
  • Openness to using AI to augment and support work.

Salary:

  • Compensation will be based on experience and include a bonus and benefits.
