Position Overview:
TF Cornerstone is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Property Manager to join a team overseeing a portfolio of waterfront Long Island City (LIC) residential rental properties.
Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Property Manager, this person will be responsible for performing the below tasks, including but not limited to:
· Assist in all stages of building staff hiring, including screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
· Maintain records of employee attendance, tardiness, and leaves of absence.
· Assist in ensuring compliance with city agencies such as DOB, ECB, HPD, and FDNY, including tracking and closing out building violations.
· Address tenant issues and concerns in a thoughtful and timely manner.
· Review daily building shift logs and proactively take steps to address issues that arise.
· Reply to a high volume of incoming emails in a timely manner (same or next business day).
· Draft and disseminate building-wide memos.
· Regular field visits to managed properties.
Qualifications:
This candidate must have the following:
· At least two (2) years of full-time work experience in Residential Property Management, with a preference for experience in providing support for high-rise luxury rental buildings.
· Strong organizational, analytic, verbal, and written skills.
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects independently to completion.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
· Undergraduate degree or higher.
