Position Overview:
The Senior Fundraiser will lead the firm’s efforts to raise equity from HNWIs, UHNWIs, Family Offices, RIAs, and Institutional investors. This role is responsible for building and maintaining long-term investor relationships that support the growth of the firm’s real estate platform. The Senior Fundraiser will work closely with senior leadership to identify and engage prospective investors, manage ongoing relationships, and represent the firm in the market.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead capital raising efforts for the firm’s real estate investment products across HNWIs, UHNWIs, Family Offices, RIAs, and Institutional investors.
- Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies in alignment with the firm’s investment platform, growth objectives, and fund timelines.
- Cultivate, manage, and expand long-term relationships with existing and prospective limited partners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for investors throughout the fundraising process, including scheduling and conducting meetings, providing updates, and addressing information requests.
- Oversee investor due diligence processes, including completion of questionnaires, coordination of data rooms, and responses to investor inquiries.
- Collaborate with internal teams on the preparation of marketing materials, investor presentations, and Private Placement Memoranda (PPMs).
- Communicate the firm’s investment strategy, track record, and value proposition clearly and effectively to prospective investors.
- Maintain accurate records of investor interactions and capital raising activities in CRM systems.
- Participate in investor meetings and events, including travel as necessary, to strengthen relationships and support capital formation initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated success in raising equity capital for real estate private equity platforms.
- Proven track record of cultivating relationships with HNWIs, UHNWIs, Family Offices, RIAs, and Institutional investors, including pensions, endowments, foundations, and insurance companies.
- Deep understanding of real estate investment strategies and capital markets.
- Demonstrated expertise in best practices for fundraising, investor relations, and client service.
- Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to contribute to firm growth, new product development,
and the expansion of investor relationships.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex investment strategies to sophisticated investors.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while respecting established relationships and firm culture.
- Willingness to travel as required to support investor engagement and fundraising initiatives
