Senior Analyst – Real Estate Investments

Company Overview:
Founded nearly 35 years ago in Czech Republic, our client is a highly sophisticated European family office operating across 23 countries and 3 continents. The platform currently has €43 Billion in assets under management. The family office is expanding its existing commercial real estate investment platform within the U.S. Real Estate market. Globally, our client invests in multiple market segments including financial services, telecommunications, biotechnology, real estate, and mechanical engineering.

 
Position Overview:

  • Support acquisitions, dispositions, development joint venture partnerships, and asset and development management initiatives across office, hotel, residential, retail, and mixed-use projects throughout the Sunbelt
  • Work directly with the Managing Director of U.S. Real Estate on investment analysis, development pipeline oversight, refinancing initiatives, budgeting, and strategic venture management
  • Assist in underwriting acquisitions and development opportunities, including preparing investment memos, reviewing third-party pro formas, validating assumptions, and presenting recommendations to senior leadership
  • Help oversee long-term joint venture partnerships by monitoring budgets, tracking performance against projections, reviewing contractual obligations, and analyzing venture economics
  • Coordinate with third-party developers, lenders, property managers, consultants, and legal teams throughout the lifecycle of development and investment projects
  • Support financing and refinancing processes, including debt analysis, lender communication, collateral restructuring, and capital planning exercises.
  • Assist with preparation of internal investment committee and ownership presentations
  • Track development and operational performance against underwriting assumptions and business plans
  • Manage due diligence processes related to acquisitions, financings, and development initiatives
  • Coordinate with external partners on construction progress, budgeting, reporting, and project execution
  • Support portfolio-level reporting and long-term strategic planning initiatives
  • Assist in evaluating potential acquisitions across core and core-plus investment strategies
  • Participate in lender negotiations and debt financing processes, including refinancing and restructuring efforts

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Market Research – Compile, analyze and clearly report market data provided by industry periodicals, on-line content, and regional operating personnel
    • Maintain detailed database for comparable sales, track market performance and other industry metrics
    • Conduct periodic comparable property/land sale studies and market rent surveys.
  • Coordinate, collect and compile financial analysis and initial due diligence materials (financial statements, market reports, capital expenditure history, environmental and property condition reports, etc.)
  • Financial Modeling – Prepare / develop financial analysis which will include developing assumptions and market share, pro forma, capital and return analyses
  • Prepare cash flow projections and valuations of various properties using ARGUS and Excel
  • Coordinate Due Diligence: Review leases, budgets, estoppels and other pertinent data.
    • Assist with the due diligence processes such as establishing a DD budget, tendering for due diligence services, and contract negotiation and management
  • Financing – Assist with the coordination of acquisition/development financing and refinancing. Handle monthly reporting to lenders.
  • Asset Management - Review property level operational and CAPEX budgets and provide economic lease analysis
  • Collaborate with Managing Director on the preparation and review of all presentation materials, including Investment Memoranda for Investment Committee approval as well as regular operations reporting
  • Interact with senior investment professionals and collaborate with the acquisition, asset management, development, leasing operations, and accounting professionals of the firm

Qualifications/Experience:

  • 2-5 years of experience in real estate investment analysis, acquisitions, asset management, development, or related fields.
  • Strong financial modeling and underwriting skills across multiple asset classes preferred, particularly mixed-use, office, hospitality, multifamily, or retail.
  • Ability to analyze investment opportunities, review complex financial structures, and synthesize findings into concise recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Interest in taking on broader responsibilities beyond acquisitions, including development oversight, venture management, refinancing analysis, and strategic asset management.
  • Highly motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively within a lean, collaborative organization.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to interact directly with internal leadership, partners, lenders, and third-party consultants.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a less structured, fast-evolving environment.
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and willingness to grow into a long-term leadership role within the platform.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, or related field required.
     

Salary:

  • Base Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000
  • Eligible for bonus

Compensation will be based on experience and include a bonus and benefits.
